Soft Bamboo Gloves for Sensitive Hands
Our adult bamboo gloves are a soft, breathable layer for dry or easily irritated hands. The fabric is smooth with gentle seams, so it stays comfortable through the day and overnight, and works well as light protection during everyday tasks like cleaning or gardening. They are recommended by the Norwegian Asthma and Allergy Association.
Why bamboo instead of cotton?
Cotton gloves are the usual choice because they are breathable, but they tend to lose their softness after a few washes. Bamboo keeps its smooth, silky feel wash after wash, which matters when the fabric sits against sensitive skin for hours at a time.
In Singapore, most cotton gloves sold in pharmacies are not especially soft, and a rough or warm glove is uncomfortable in our humid weather. These bamboo gloves are a cooler, gentler alternative for anyone who wants a comfortable layer on their hands.
Antibacterial / Antifungal
Bamboo fabric has natural anti-microbial properties, believed to be around three times those of cotton. Unlike man-made chemical anti-microbial finishes, this quality is inherent to the fibre, so it tends to be gentler on the skin.
Ideal for sensitive skin
Bamboo is hypoallergenic. The fibre is smooth and round, which makes it non-irritating and soft enough even for babies.
Feels like silk
Bamboo has a soft, luscious feel often compared to cashmere or silk, with a distinctive lustrous sheen. On a microscopic level the fibre is round, which gives it that smooth, pleasant feel against the skin.
Stays cool even after prolonged wearing
In warm weather, bamboo helps cool the skin by a few degrees, so heat is not trapped under the fabric.
Biodegradable
Like cotton, bamboo is plant-based, so the gloves can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.
How to use
At night, apply your usual moisturiser, then wear the gloves over it so it stays on your hands rather than rubbing off on the sheets. During the day, you can wear them under rubber gloves for washing up or shampooing, which reduces contact with water and latex.

Gloves are really soft and comfortable. However not suitable for my eczema fingers as it sticks onto the wound overnight 🥲 think better for people w eczema elsewhere and use this as a barrier when scratching in sleep.

The gloves are cooling and soft to use even in Singapore’s weather. My 20 year old son used to scratch his neck and front elbows at night and made the eczema rash very bad. After using the gloves for sleeping, it helps to prevent direct contact with the skin when scratching and thus prevents broken and infected skin and helps in recovery. I repeated my purchase and now I have 3 pairs.

Helped greatly in reducing scratching for me! The only gripe I have is that the sizing chart wasn’t very accurate in helping me pick the correct size as it was too small for me. Recommended to buy a size bigger so it wouldn’t be too tight on your skin.

We came across this product whilst browsing online for cotton gloves. The bamboo gloves are very thin, breathable and you can even use your phone while wearing them! They are also machine-washable and even after multiple washes, they maintain their shape and do not accumulate lint. I’ve been wearing these gloves to sleep for around a week now and never expected them to feel so comfortable even though I do not sleep with aircon on. I had been experiencing a flareup with infected/oozing eczema for weeks and was frustrated that they could not heal because I kept scratching them unconsciously in my sleep. After wearing these gloves, coupled with my creams and dressings, my previously infected eczema was able to heal well and I am overjoyed about that!

It helps to lock in the moisturiser longer than it would when hands are exposed. It also prevents hands from direct contact with surfaces that can irritate the healing hands easily. At night, it helps to sleep better as the hands are protected from drying up. Very comfortable and cooling to the hands.

Previously had a night scratching problem and these gloves really helped to prevent that. This has helped my wounds heal much faster + allow me to sleep well. These gloves are very comfortable and soft – I bought a second pair shortly after buying the first pair. Have been using the gloves for a month and still use them every night.
Highly recommended if you have problems with scratching at night.

Have had pompholyx/blisters on my hands for the past 5-6 years, which would worsen when I scratched in my sleep. Have used steroid creams for as many years, but the blisters always recur and worsen.
Used the gloves for the past few months when sleeping. They not only protect, but also feel cool and soft, which soothes the itch and sensitivity considerably at night. Now I use them to type comfortably during flare-ups too!
After a recent flare-up, I tried pairing with emu oil, on Bee’s recommendation. Major inflammation and blistered areas on my hands largely cleared after several days. This was in conjunction with my usual steroid creams, but even so, I’ve never healed this quickly with just the steroids! Feeling hope for the first time in years for real improvement.
Recommend pairing this with emu oil.

Really like the fit and feel of these gloves. Also, they don’t feel greasy after wear even though I applied greasy ointments on my hands for overnight moisturising. They’re not cheap but the quality is worth the price 🙂

these gloves have been lifesavers for me, i think they’re the best buys i’ve ever gotten! when i put them on, i instantly feel a coolness, like i have chilled air ventilated in my hands. when i take them off, i instantly feel the warm humid air again. the bamboo used to make these wick sweat away and keep my hands smooth and comfy all day. i got 3 pairs and only wear on my right hands, and thankfully i can use both the gloves on my right. i have one pair reserved for sleeping, and another reserved for daily activities! i even wear them underneath rubber gloves & latex gloves depending if i’m washing dishes or eating and they feel so good.

Gloves might have seemed too small but it gradually stretches out. It’s comfortable and unlike other gloves, and dust particles do not stick on these gloves. Best part is you can use your phone while wearing them.
